The new Series 2000 Contractor's Saws take woodworking into the new millennium by improving upon a tried-and-true design. With the same heavy-duty 1-1/2-horsepower motor, rugged trunnions and blade adjusting mechanisms that woodworkers have come to depend on, this saw now has added convenience features. A fence-mounted paddle switch allows easy shutdowns, a must for emergency situations. The three-piece stand is not only easier to assemble, but has a built-in dust chute and storage for the miter gage and fence. Blade changing is simplified by a blade guard that locks up and out of the way and automatically returns to its operating position when the table insert is re-installed. A newly redesigned UniRip fence offers built-in T-slots for adding jigs and accessories and provides additional stock support in front of the table. Tabletop accessible positive stop adjustment screws make calibrating 90-degree and 45-degree positions a simple task. The 10-inch blade will cut to a maximum depth of 3-1/8 inches and the UniRip fence allows cutting 30 inches to the right of the blade and 13-1/2 inches to the left. Includes the patented Auto-Set T-slot miter gage that supports the workpiece and will not tip or fall when extended beyond the front edge of the table. Two-year limited warranty on machines, parts, and accessories. Includes saw, three-piece stand, 30-inch UniRip fence, Auto-Set T-slot miter gauge, 10-inch blade, and instruction manual.
